Lucid is a digital dream journal unlike any other, with it’s novel feature being real-time dream recordings that can be played back and saved in the Lucid app. 

The way that this works is that customers will purchase an earpiece that will be worn at night translating brain signals during sleep (specifically the phase during deep sleep - dreaming) into accurate visual representations of the customer’s dream.
CAMPAIGN OBJECTIVE

The goal of this campaign is to get people aged 25-65
to use the product and encourage them to learn
more about themselves and the things that might be challenging them in their waking life and seeming 
not to come to resolution. Lucid aims to be the bridge between people’s waking and sleeping lives. 

INSIGHT + STRATEGY
We spend a third of our lives asleep in a world we created but wake up as strangers to our own minds.


The main selling point of the app is the novel ability to see your dreams exactly as they happened in your mind. The app is the focal point of this campaign with supporting elements such as a website to shop companion accessories for enhanced dream tracking, as well as a social media campaign, an OOH campaign and packaging for the companion accessories. 

The campaign asks people the question of whether or not they truly understand themselves and invites
them to not just wonder what goes on while they sleep, it is meant to inspire action, to want to know more about oneself. 
LUCID APP
The app was created for two types of users, those that are more passive and just want to see the highlights of their night, or those that want to dive deeper into the meanings of their dreams and how their bodies react to the dream. In order to properly track your dreams, however, you must have purchased the earpiece as well. 
WEBSITE
The website serves as a supporting platform for the app with a blog that keeps users up to date with newly released research in the field of sleep and dream science and also gives insights into self-understanding and how to interpret certain commonly had dreams. 

A shop page is also included for users who need to replace their earpieces or try out enhanced dream tracking with an upgraded version of the earpiece.
