General patterns were drawn from competitor apps to maintain structural familiarity with regards to navigation through the app.

The option to log in or create an account is not mandatory, an option provided to be inclusive of user privacy preferences.

Preliminary user interest and demographic (age) surveys were included after logging in, to better suggest activities, exercises, and relaxation methods to better serve users.

The option to have closed captions appear during activities and exercises were provided in order to accomodate persons with disabilties.

The option to turn off background music during activities and exercies was also included to accomodate for user preferences in terms of managing distractions.

The option to download activities and exercises for offline use was also included on the activities and exercises screen to ensure accessibility regardless of internet connection quality/for use on the go (during car rides or trips to the mall when children may experience overwhelming emotions or new situations).
